Shame they have the needle, makes for a cracking fight but it would be that without the banter. They both seem like sound lads and in a parallel universe would probably be good mates!

I actually think Sturm is a pretty class fighter.  His record lets him down massively though and he really hasn't tried his hardest to prove he's the best at the weight.  He seems happy to just plod along in Germany againt B and C level fighters coining in the money.

The fights with the top dogs could be made simply because he has a belt, and unification fights are always a big attraction to other belt holders.  I just think Sturm would rather keep going how he has been rather than take risks.

Just my two cents.

Agree completely... minus the pretty class part. Grin

Anyone of the divisions best from the past decade would have taken him apart IMO

He's a pretty class coward though!

My argument only ever existed on the fact he gave Oscar a boxing lesson, you then want to say that must of just been a bad night for Oscar which I think does Felix a massive injustice.

As I have said, any fighter who beats Oscar so easily has something a bit beyond being just decent, he also rematched and beat both guys who he drew and lost too which your ignoring.

I think you're getting carried away with Oscar abit he was never a Middleweight and the only 2 fights he had in the division ended in a gift decision and a good hiding from Hopkins. Not to mention he had just lost prior to Sturm and the only thing he achieved after Sturm was beating a washed up Mayorga and an awful Steve Forbes.

If Sturm is that special Aaron he would have been able to duplicate an Oscar beating performance on a regular basis ...he hasn't one fight against a man who was a joke in the division you beat him in doesnt make you a special fighter or beyond decent no matter how many pretty colours you paint over it...

I cant believe your Ego!

Youll back up a gun carrying coward in James Kirkland who was getting taught a lesson by Carlos Molina and has never even fought for a world title in his puff, but disrespect a 3 time world middleweight champion with Multiple defenses.

To be honest guys like you aint even worth arguing/disagree with theres no getting through, its just a waste of anybodys time, the word delusion is pretty accurate.

You call a fighter a coward when after everyone writing him off after getting stopped in one round he then travels to the biggest punching, best chinned 154lb number one contenders own country and smashes him around like a 4 year old with an action man. You then worship a fighter as your poster boy who in 12 defenses of a world title hasnt left home or fought above B level.

After that you call me delusional or not worth arguing with...wake up pal! Sturms a coward plain and simple a decade in the world title middleweight scene and he's never been acknowledged as the best in the division it's down right embarrassing.

Well up for a murray v macklin fight (or barker v either to be honest), like all of them. In murray v macklin I'd have to be backing macklin though, love his heart and was a top bloke when we met him after the martinez fight.
