A friend of mine carried the torch yesterday  Cool

I must admit I am getting excited about it now but would have been more excited had it been near me instead of in that London  Undecided

What with the lottery for tickets, the huge costs and the difficulty getting there its pretty much out of reach for me  Tongue

I'm a s&c nut so most sport interests me. I love the olympics and I'll following it in London. Should we have bid for it? No definitely not with the country broke, but now it is here I'll be following as much as I can.

The big areas for me are the weightlifting, the athletics and obviously the boxing.

True.

The people carrying them also have to buy them so if they decide to sell them I don't see the problem.

Apparently some Olympic fat cat was kicking off at people selling them, then when asked what would be done with any torches left over he could not answer. Two faced or what.
