Morning It's been a while  Arrangements are in place for a great venue for people to meet up at on the day of fight. It can't be confirmed 100% yet as some minor issues are being resolved. The outline plan is pretty simple. The venue will be showing 4 of Carl's best fights from around 2.00pm onwards. The Test Match will also be on with good food and booze available all day at reasonable prices. There will also be a free raffle with some Froch memorabilia as prizes. It is also being looked at as a place where people can get guaranteed entry after the fight (which will likely be after 1am). I will confirm the full arrangements once I've been given the nod to do so. If people want to express preference on the 4 fights to be shown (and in what order) then post them on here.. WAR FROCH!!! |

No mate - Centre of Town - W/B is off the menu as the Test Match v West Indies is on at Trent Bridge otherwise Southbank would have been ideal...but the venue is similar to that... |

Sounds crap In regards to fights I would say Pascal, Taylor and Abraham are dead certs. Then potentially Kessler although he lost it was a barn burner! |

good work Danno. count me in mate for the opening doors at 2pm, assuming i'm allowed in of course.
i was gonna go to the cricket as well but in hindsight will be too much.
but then again on the day, will all go pear shaped anyway. as long as we throw Laney and Connelly at some time during the festivities into the fountains, that should suffice. (Coventry tw#ts)

Going to get details of official Froch after party for you all, but it would seem you guys have already done a deal for this place Dan.
The other place is old-Gatecrasher (Media?) i think. So perhaps only a minutes walk from this venue.

Nothing set in stone at all - certainly for afters.. Everyone is free to do what they prefer.. But just looking to provide an option as we are on "home" turf... |
