What a top day though!

Can't believe my missus called my bluff & turned up with the little un's Grin Grin Grin Grin

Bouncer's wouldn't let them in at first I was outside at the time,  didn't know it was your lass but felt real bad for them Angry.   Said to the bouncers on my way back in "no harm in letting them in lads"
Was it you who went out and got them  Smiley

Well, what can be said about the whole day and night?

Thanks to all of you that came down and supported it. To raise £1500 (including the £500 from Skratch's company) is just fantastic. Hopefully we will be able to add to that in the coming weeks if one or two prizes that were promised eventually get to me - I will possibly offer them to the members of this board rather than ebay if there is interest in them.

The Cobra (Ringside Robbie) deserves huge thanks from everyone for his tireless work in organising several of the prizes, "Machine Gun" texting / tweeting and general marshalling of his troops! Smiley - He puts in a lot of time and effort and I'm sure we all wish him well now that he can relax and properly recover from his recent operation. Thanks to Carl for the prize donations and the general way he conducts himself, a greater sportsman in our generation with a more humble and open attitude will be hard to find. Other notable mentions must go to Skratch Alien, the ONETrueSaxon boys and the owners of The Approach for making this a worthwhile event that we can hopefully do again for future home fights. Anyone else who I've forgotten will have to suck it up...but a genuine thanks to all for being there...

The fight and atmosphere need no more mention..I think we all agree that it was right up there with the best that sport has to offer, and we can all now look forward to several more superb fights from the one and only COBRA!

I'm sodding off to Spain for a week now to recover... Cool  Grin

One last thing;

A notable mention must go to one of the Loughborough lads who graciously accepted the Raffle booby prize of the Notts County signed shirt - may it clean dirty windows for many years to come!!  Grin Grin Grin

Just want to show my appreciation and on behalf of the other lads with me on sat. Special thanks to dan for a cracking afternoon and robbie for sorting the tickets. If anybody else on here was involved in organising the pre fight stuff, then I'm sorry I've not mentioned you. Would love to do it all again before the end of the year. You guys were a credit to yourselves and also team Froch.

Cheers lads.
