The fight about to come on in a few minutes just hope for Shane is its quick and not to painful. Quintana shocks Laitmore in 6 rounds with a nice left hook and Vargas beats Forbes on pts in a pretty dull contest.

Never count the old fox out.
I have that same feeling I'll likely be wrong.

I reckon Shanes getting stopped properly a TKO around round 8 or 9 could be sooner if he gets gun shy like he did with Manny.

Shane is gun shy when he rocked Mayweather he would have finished him a few years ago but he just doesn't have it in him anymore. He struggled with Mayorga ffs this lad Alvarez is going to be a Boxing superstar very soon he is going to retire Mosley tonight.

Mosley is lucky he didn't get a warning for that defo leaned into him and it was quite deliberate. Good fight so far Alvarez is the stronger Guy when he lands you can see Mosley whincing. At the end of the 5th I have Alvarez 48-47 up.

Mosley battling gamely on but he as no head movement and is eating big stinging right hooks. Alvarez is a beast he is a awesome puncher every punch is hurting Mosley I'd be surprised if Mosley can last another 3 rounds.

Got to give Mosley is dues he is way behind probably 5 rounds or more but he is still looking to put Alvarez on the backfoot. I'm surprised Nady as not deducted a point of Shane for fouling had loads of warnings for pushing, holding and going in with the head.

It was a good fight Mosley never gave up always looking for a opening but he is a faded fighter at this level and I don't see him getting another title shot. Alvarez is top drawer I don't think he turned into top gear tonight but he was impressive and his power is there. I felt sorry for Shane while he was being interviewed he knows its the end for him but just can't bring himself to say it.

Sugar Shane used to be a female heart throb - but last night his face looked pretty punched-in.
God knows what his brain is gonna be like in a few years.
