Really? I thought he looked bigger than Cotto in there last night.

I wouldn't have said he looked bigger but there certainly didn't to be that sort of physical disparity between them.

Cotto picked floyd up early in the fight and shoved him back against the ropes a few times so you could see he was bull strong. Has anyone said cotto's in-ring weight yet?

Slowly, more and more Floyd and Greatest Of All Time are starting to get used in the same sentence.

Anybody know where to get the whole fight... I need to watch this one again. Brutal corner exchanges between the two. Also would love to see the post fight conference. They must have a lot of respect for one another.

Ok Quiz time.... for the boxing gurus.

Take a look at the last image on the link below. The picture with Justine Bieber, Lil Wayne, Mayweather and 50 Cent in the foreground. Does anybody know who the two guys in the background are (From the rear left) ? They look like brothers and I tend to see them in every major fight for the past year or so. Kudos for anybody who can shine any light on it.

It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest to see Floyd demanding Manny step up to 154lb for their fight. But I digress. The fight isn't happening until Manny leaves Arum, which I wouldn't bank on happening.

In regards to the Mosley v Alvarez fight, I thought Shane looked pretty good in there and we saw shades of his old self, especially in the later part of the fight when he was trading big shots with the kid. His reflexes have clearly deteriorated but I wouldn't think that the fight was enough to turn Oscar off from steering Alvarez in Floyd's direction although any version of Floyd would beat an Alvarez. The fight's not appealing to me, it has to be Martinez or Pacquiao. There is another young gun in Kirkland but technically, his style would allow for him to get slaughtered by Floyd's punches. Paul Williams somewhat redeemed himself against Ishida so that could be another. Or go back down to 147lb and fight Alexander but financially I wouldn't think he'd be worth fighting and he still needs to prove himself. Kell Brook is way off for now. At 160lb, there really is nobody apart from Martinez. Chavez Jr is with Arum so that's a no go.

All I'm hearing is that Floyd should fight Martinez but why. Martinez is hardly a superstar he looked crap against Barker he brings nothing to the table as he is hardly a massive draw. Floyd would box rings round him it would be terrible to watch. There are fighters like Rios, Khan, Bradley and Pacquaio all of whom should be targeting Floyd even Alvarez as said he isn't ready.
I don't think anybody is out there who is capable of beating Floyd. Its not his fault he is just so good but to get him to move up to 156ibs or whatever to face a 37 year old slugger does nothing for his career.

Rumour has it that after seeing Justin Bieber accompany Mayweather to the ring last night... Carl Froch will now be accompanied by Jedward  Wink

p.s The second I saw Cotto come out with bright pink socks on it was clear he wasnt gonna win.

Mayweather is slowly winning me over ,to be honest he rode a lot of cotto,s punches and his defence is just to perfection.i can see he will frustrate pacman if the fight happens.but there's one thing for sure it's the only fight out there for both men.forget khan.

The cotto that fought last night at 154lb would have destroyed the likes of manny and marquez at that weight. I was very impressed with cotto's performance. Great fight and credit to mayweather for standing and trading like he did.

Jesus Christ lad.

Thanks to Tito and Hitman for the answer to the twin mystery. These guys are serious contenders for the title of "licence to lurk".

You guys are seriously knowledgeable about your boxing.
