Every month? I can think of three in the past three years. Whenever they sign a fighter it is subject to a drug test, and then are tested before every fight. In foreign countries where they don't have an athletic commission to adhere to, they carry out their own tests. Don't compare the two as you really have no clue.
I have no clue ? you think I'm making it up that MMA is not absolutely rife with juicers ? The high profile fighters use designer steroids. They dont get caught out by Piss tests for over-counter-steroids like nandrolone, baldolone, stanzolol etc. But for your information here's some UFC, Afflicition names who have been banned :- JOSH BARNETT TIM SYLVIA KIMO LEOPOLDO NATE MARQUARDT KIMO LEOPOLDO (yet again) VITOR BELFORT PAWEL NASTULA STEPHAN BONNAR KIT COPE JOHNNIE MORTON ROYCE GRACIE JORGE ORTIZ PHIL BARONI SEAN SHERK HERMES FRANCA ANTHONY TORRES BILL MAHOOD ADAM SMITH JASON WINTHERS RUBEN VILLAREAL DENNIS HALLMAN ALEXANDER CRISPIM CARINA DAMM (female) ALEXANDRE NOGUEIRA ANTONIO SILVA EDWIN DEWEES CHRIS LEBEN KIRILL SIDELNIKOV KEN SHAMROCK JOSH BARNETT (again) COLE PROVINCE CHAEL SONNEN VINICIUS QUIEROZ JAMES IRVIN THIAGO SILVA CRISTIANE ‘CRIS CYBORG’ SANTOS MUHAMMAD ‘KING MO’ LAWAL ALISTAIR OVEREEM

The Pactoid Strikes Back.
This is not a court of law, it's a forum where discussions and thoughts on situations take place, with or without merit.
The FACT if you like, is that there is a heap of fighters / history with a background of drug use, bans and ducking of tests surrounding the whole entourage - all linked to one another via Roach and his helper Ariza.
Go dig up Robert McCracken and the fighters he trains or is involved with, and there isn't a sniff of allegations or bans in his family tree of fighters.
Yet Roach's gym has been awash with it. James Toney, Chavez junior.
You can say "ah but Chavez was not with Roach" but the reality is he weighed 182lb against Rubio, who was astonished and his strength - and then he sprinted off post-fight because his godfather at the WBC 'forgets' to arrange post fight doping tests for a world title fight.
This isn't singling out Pacquiao, it's a snap shot of the whole family tree - and within that there are numerous suspicious athletes and team members.
My point is, even in amateur sports like track and field, they're juicing left right and centre. In a loosely tested environment where huge sums of money are involved, then this only elevates the need to win at any cost.
Even squeaky clean Shane Mosley was juicing and played ignorant and then we have Margarito who happily wore plaster of paris in gloves too. Margarito wouldn't bat an eyelid at taking stuff in my opinion.
Wladimir Klitschko got caught with steroids in his blood and is a huge specimen of muscle for his height even today.
Many have campaigned for a different approach to testing as it's been proven that even Olympic level testing can be outsmarted - let alone a Piss test, like the Nevada state carry out.
UFC - look at the monsters in that sport. They're riddled with high profile steroid bans every month. They're physiques resemble that of a juiced-up gym rat and not an athlete.
People can stick their head in the sand, but this is a very real problem - and it seems to afflict Stateside fighters more than any other country out there.
So instead of crying about it or sticking your head in the sand because Pacquiao got a name check, recognise what the debate is.
Um, you are singling out Pacquiao. He's the only fighter people on this board are singling out for drug usage when there isn't a shred of evidence against him. You bring up all these other cheats, UFC, boxing, or otherwise, and they deserve bans. The sporting bodies should enforce OST for all levels where there is enough money to do so. We're all in agreement on this. Slandering Pacquiao? Oh, I forgot, "recipes", "coincidences", blah. I call you on your wonky facts? I'm crying. Oh dear.

How old are you? Have you never had a feeling something might be happening without having stone cold hard evidence to prove it? Do you go off facts in everything you do in life and never have even the slightest of an opinion on something unless you know 100% what the story is? Don't answer me Charlie because if you say no then regardless of what you put no then regardless of whatever else you put I will presume you to be talking shite. But that is all people are doing here, they are thinking something might be happening and the answeres to if it is or not are being kept from them. People want to know if Manny is taking something based on the fact that regardless of what you want to go and dig up refused the testing at first untill he started to try and bend ways around it such as cut off points, not only this but his reasons behind refusing it also changed. We can not forget the "I am scared of needles" to the "giving blood makes me weak which is why I lost to Morales that time". Kind of strange for a guy covered in tattoo's but lets all take it as gospel truth because Manny would never talk shit, it aint like he is a political figure (joke). It is not just because of what Floyd has said, sure that started it but sugar coat it however you like Manny has at times put fuel to the fire burning. Roach has worked with a fighter that has been found to be cheating, Ariza is working with one the whole world suspects is cheating (though probably not you). Various respected people in boxing who have no affiliation to either camp claim to of seen emails pondering what would happen if Manny failed a drugs test. And yes he has gone up through the weights and won fights in such a way that if you asked people about many would describe and unbelievable. Given Manny is one of the biggest names in the sport whome a lot of talk regarding drug testing has surrounded of late it is no shock that people begin to mention him at times of steroid debates. You say your working on facts, your working on what you believe to be facts no doubt that have come from either camp, or is it only fact if it comes from Team Pac and the articles that support your opinion? Nobody I know including me wants Pac to fail a test, but many simply want him to take it and to know why he refused it from day one and then changed his mind back and fourth. Their are no facts their, but plenty of reasons to create doubt.

Ah, the bliss of uninformed living! Your stupidity and shameful ignorance is your business, however, the continuous slandering of a particular pugilist is contemptible. Do I accuse people of cheating, without a shred of tangible evidence, no!, I do not. Do I point my finger based on a hunch, no, i do not! Do I constantly, tirelessly, incessantly, contaminate every reference with this insidious malignancy, I do not. Your vile, cowardly aspersions will not be tolerated. Do I keep my mouth shut until I know, one hundred percent, that the ill I speak is incontestable, I do! How wicked it is, to breath life into the deranged ramblings of a shambolic crackhead. You are the lowest of the low, a despicable mammalian without a single redeeming feature. Would you crucify a man without evidence? yes, I think you would. That which can be asserted without evidence, can be dismissed without evidence! You have no business calling yourself a boxing fan. Your childish drivel sickens me, and you commit a sin so grave, so dreadful, whilst remaining glib and brainless. Take the risk of thinking for yourself, much more happiness, truth, beauty, and wisdom will come to you that way. In short, stop your uninformed, ill educated, wicked attacks on an athlete who has never tested positive for any drug. Understand implicitly the role and importance of evidence. First thread I check out in quite a while. and your up to your old tricks. Smarten up!

In the wake of Peterson failing his test, I've read a lot of info regarding drug testing in boxing, all educated and informed pieces not just speculation. What is interesting is that the man who broke the Peterson story legitimately with sources Gabriel Montoya (on twitter as @Gabriel_Montoya) has gone into a lot of detail: FM inisists on Olympic style drug testing, but only in-competition not OUT of. The drug testing that WADA and USADA do (which FM wanted) allows for testosterone levels to be either 4:1 or 6:1 dependant on test Peterson was found with 3.77:1 (meaning he'd have passed the "rigorous" checks) CIR testing was used by Khan/Peterson which is more in depth than any other Victor Conte - he of "drugs cheat" shame - has promoted CIR as the only credible test to take for three years A great article is here and well worth reading.I'm sceptical on the second half of the article re FM links with the hair surgery people but there's enough information there to make you consider how rife drug use is in boxing http://www.maxboxing.com/news/max-boxing-news/azad-championship-report---floyd-mayweather-and-the-new-wave-of-drug-testing-in-boxing

Aaron you take your own speculations to be gospel. Ok since we're speculating here's one for you.
Floyd Mayweather is on PEDs.
Check out the recent episodes of 24/7 or read the pre-fight articles. There are tons of stories of Floyd leaving clubs to go training or getting up in the middle of the night for "spontaneous" work out sessions. If you know anything about performance-enhancing drugs you will be aware of the constant compulsion to train. It's the same if you read any PED report on Lance Armstrong, witnesses tell stories of how he would all of sudden feel compelled to exercise at odd hours.
So you see, you can speculate on anything and make it fit into your own worldview. And why would Floyd insist on random testing? Why did Peterson insist on random testing...
