They shouldn't let Hennessy speak on the TV anymore, he talks absolute nonsense.

Galahad looks alright but I can't see him having the power to keep the likes of Quigg and Frampton off him.  I don't see how Mick thinks he's close to being ready for the world stage.  Guys like Rigondeaux, Mares, Nishioka, etc would pick him to pieces.

I like Josh, regularly go down to the gym to pick up tickets from him and watch him train. He is no world beater but if im being honest he's better suited to Bantam, i think he can make a dent into the top 5 in Britain and would certainly demolish Ross Burkinshaw in a local derby.

Galahad is another Usman Ahmed, 'nuff said.

As for Mick, he talks utter tripe, but he is a promoter so you have to cut him a small amount of slack especially as he is playing up to his audience, which afterall is the casual fan who has just got in from the pub. It's if he actually believes what he is saying that you need to worry.

Just seen that the cover for tomorrow's BN says that this fight did 2m viewers on C5 on Saturday night.  It seems crazy thay BBC and ITV are still ignoring the sport when a minor terrestrial channel can do those numbers for a fight that received little publicity between two novices.

Its good the sport is attracting a major audience but I don't see how it benefits anybody unless Hennessey is either getting good money from CH5 or he hopes he can build fighters on domestic TV and then worm his way back in with Sky. If he can get Fury, Eubank Jr and a few others up to Euro level then he is back in the mix as a leading promoter.

The point I was making is that if Mick gets Fury a shot against Povetkin or the Klitschko's he is going to have a major struggle asking ch5 to stump up a large amount of money for the UK tv revenues. If he was with Sky they would not think twice about showing it but I think ch5 can only take him so far the more his fighters progress.

true.. but it would mean a hell of alot for a terrestrial channel to have a bonified world heavyweight champion on their screens on a saturday night.

can it be done? yes it can at least im sure of it as long as people dont get too greedy..
