The way it should be mate. As an England fan I don't want scots or welsh or Irish supporting us. Friendly banter is healthy and brings competition. I want Scotland to lose every game they play, but have no malice to the country.

Being a Scot I don't have much interest  Grin however I'd take Carroll and play him from the start.
My mrs booked me a weekend in edinbrough first England game v France...no doubt I shall see a few French flags around there. Grin

Fairly predicatable wasn't it.

I think we've got a really shallow pool of players really, especially in terms of midfielders. If you leave out the like of Gerrard or Lampard then who do you replace them with? It says it all when Jordan Henderson is on standby. Parker is struggling with an achilles and if anyone is likely to miss out through injury then its him. You're not telling me Carrick wouldn't have been a better option then Henderson as a like for like replacement?

I'd have taken Richards over Phil Jones who's form dipped badly in the second half of the season and i'd have taken Adam Johnson instead of Downing who is shite. Johnson's lack of game time probably killed off his chances.

I'd have Henderson in Central Midfield ahead of Gerrard but there you go

Roy came out with a blinder. Talking about oxlade Chamberlain. " he is a very exciting player. He left quite an impression on me, not least of all when Arsenal played Milan at the Emirates and I saw how he dealt with Pirlo and Ambrosini in the centre of midfield". Pirlo plays for juve and Ambrosini didn't play. Haha
