Thinking I'm gonna go for 'the tune' hotel in Liverpool st, anyone got any experience of this hotel or the chain ?

Tune is the budget one isn't it where you pay per towel etc, never stayed but it looks good to me

WTF really ?

It is actually a really good idea in particular if you are on the lash, the room just has a bed, thats it, if you want towels you pay and extra quid or whatever, soap another quid, tv a few more quid etc etc. Very clever in my opinion and cheap as a consequence

Mike the location is bang on, there's a good little boozer there called the White Horse, be sure to fill your pockets with £1 coins  Grin failing that Browns is 2 mins away.

How has everyone done for a hotel ??

I've been recommended Leicester square and kings cross but I think these are miles away.

Is Getting a taxi across London a nightmare.

I've basically got a choice of heading to a mates in Kent £150 taxi or staying in London and just getting a taxi back to the hotel afterwards no matter where we end up.

Any advice would be great

There's no night life in west ham/upton park. You'll have to head into London via the jubilee line but traffic and all that will be a nightmare hence why I'm not bothering going and it's only a 15 min train journey from where I am.

I only booked my hotel the other day but I thought I got quite a bargain to be honest.

My mates driving down so needed somewhere close but with free parking, found a hotel in Stratford, 2 miles from the ground free parking and a twin room for 65 quid.  Everything else was either further away and more expensive so happy with that.
