I'm going with a Froch TKO. As good as Bute seems,I just think the Cobra is going to produce his greatest performance. The butterflies and catbones are leaning strongly towards the TKO

Sadly I think Bute might just win this.
I hope Carl can handle those uppercuts to the body !! The way he throws them look awesome !! I'm sure they will have worked on that aspect of Butes game, I remember seeing a clip of Carl saying the shots to the body from Kessler were hurting him when speaking to McCracken in the corner.

I think Kessler is tougher and hits harder than Bute.
And Froch opened up Mikkel's face like a tin of beans in his hometown.
Froch will mess up Bute, guaranteed - and Bute will wonder what he has to do when his own shots aren't rattling Carl like previous opponents.

I wouldn't say with any great conviction as to who I think will win this. The question marks surround Bute more then Froch and for me, that's what makes him (Bute) more dangerous, is we don't yet know how much more he can step down on the gas and lift.
How's Bute gonna react with a hostile crowd against him for the first time?
How's he gonna react when his opponent takes his best punches and keeps coming back for more?
How's Bute gonna react when he is repeately hit with hard punches?
We know of course Bute is fast, slick, is a good combination puncher, has power, is a great body puncher (the best in the sport imo) and is determined to prove his worth with the big boys.
He has looked the goods against tin cans and first rate pretenders, but so too did alot of other great fighters over the years until they made their big breaks.
Froch has been there done that, he has fought a who's who and and nothing from Bute wont come as any great surprise to him I imagine. We know with Froch that he will keep on coming all the way until the final bell if need be and wont turn it up and lay down like a dog if he's losing, his will power and self belief has yet to be broken and that there alone would have Bute thinking.
The thing with Froch is you can't relax with him for more then a second, he will fly at you Hamed style and from awkward angles and nail you for any laziness. He also has a good ram rodding underated jab when he fires it and doesn't use it as a guidance or range finder. He has plenty to offer that Bute hasn't seen before as a pro. Bute is going to burn up energy having to focus so hard and the crowd against him will burn up some more so stamina I'm guessing will play a part in this.
Both men will be determinded and will give it their all, there will be no filling in time just looking for the pay cheque so I'm expecting to see a great fight.
I'm guessing for Bute, what would work best for him would be to keep the fight at distance, use his speed and footwork from stopping Froch getting into any form of rythem and try and create frustration by making Froch become desprate, lungeing and becoming reckless, therefore leaving himself open to counters, counters being another good forte of Bute's.
For Froch, turn it into a dog fight, stay on top of him and make him work overtime, sap up abit more of that nervous energy of Bute's. Rough house tactics to take him out of his comfort zone and stop him from getting into any form of comfort by controlling the distance. Bute I'm guessing would fight fire with fire early on but will/might buckle down the stretch of the fight. Froch has great stamina and with the crowd behind him cheering every blow that lands will only knock the fight both physically and mentally out of Bute even more I reckon.
This fight has stoppage written all over it for me with both men very capable of stopping the other. Will be a craker, looking forward to it.

cant wait for it,
Its defo snuck up on me a bit despite having bought tickets about 6 weeks ago.
Due to the preceeding fights theres not been as much exposure as it shouldve got. probably also due to the fact that its not being shown on an american PPV.
I think froch will take him but it will be a war and close. whats new.
I think unless bute lives up to his big hype froch will expose bute. Froch is proven, tried and tested, a fringe elite fighter and genuine world class operator. So unless froch has got old or bute really is the best at 168 like his fans make out, i see a froch win.
But what makes this fight so good despite the obvious quality of the event, is that it is a bit of a pickem fight, bute is an unknown quantity, and bute and his backers will be looking to this fight to prove where bute belongs on the world scene. If he wins he will have vindicated his claims to be arguably the best at 168 alongside ward. If he loses people will say he was never that good, the manner of the loss will determine if he was an outright hype job or just came up short against a proven world level operator.

I'm hoping Carl wins, by T.K.O, I can see him hitting the canvas at some point though. Also extremely excited about lunch at Hooters.

Has all the makings of a classic. A rematch in Montreal will make very good business sense. The draw @ 25/1 has be worth a couple of quid...
