Froch is a good pressure boxer and was superb on Saturday but Joe would be too quick and clever for Froch, he'd outbox him all night long and win be a very wide points margin

This!

Not sure if any of you caught socceraid last night, but Calzaghe has put on a fair bit of timber since he's retired!

How was Bute overrated? A lot of people kept slagging off his record and were questioning his chin. I actually think he was underrated. Bika, Andrade, Miranda and Johnson are not names to sniff at. People just got spoiled by what the Super Six delivered.

What you have to realise Skav is that everyone whose calling Bute a hype job actually backed Bute to beat Froch....Haters gonna Hate.

No not at all, i know Froch fans whose heads said Bute would win......I can see myself why people backed Bute, just wish theyd hold there hands up now and give Froch the credit he deserves rather than calling Bute a hype job(this remains to be seen)

He was beat after the third round. Carl destroyed the guy on other threads we have Bute being severed up to Degale and Grooves thats his level this is why he avoided the supersix. Carl can only beat what's in the ring and YES I thought hang on we have a southpaw here always awkward and he might pose problems but come on the first punch that landed and he was holding like there was no tomorrow.

I don't know what you want me to say TBH Carl performed brilliantly but Bute was utterly rotten and it was fairly clear to see he was levels below Carl.

To give you my opinion in short, Froch is awesome, Calz was awesome, i'd still pick Calz by UD.

Its Abraham all over again.....no one has done to these guys what Froch did, Joe Calzaghe was praised world wide for whay he did to Lacy and ever since than Lacys been showen for what he always was....useless. Abraham lost to two slick, quick opperators in Dirrell and Ward but he got beat up by Froch, Bute beat everyone outside the sup six and was demolished by Froch.....Lets see what Abraham and Bute do next before we start callin them bums based on loosing to top level opposition.

How can you say Lacy is over-hyped. Bute beat no-one !!!

Lacy had no skills what so ever.No jab,no right hand,no footspeed and extremly slow on hand and foot, zero defence.
Never defeated a single Champion, only won Vacant title and had fought Bums all along.
At 23 fights with nothing Special on his Resume,he was always going to be exposed by anyone with movement.Mundine was ready to fights him,but he opted for Calzaghe and suffered his inevitable demise.
Hewas always going to lose against any Solid fighter, just check out his average Amateur record and you will see why.
Bute on the other hand actually has skills, footwork, and handspeed.
He was caught by some Big shots and he wilted under pressure.
He will beat other Solid opponents when he faces them.

Lacy was promoted for that as the 2nd coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ, subsequentely exposed as a lumbering club fighter. ?

that fat f#ck Calzaghe would get punished by Carl. Joe was put down by RJJ and B-Hop by innocuous looking shots and what Carl would deliver would be too much.

honestly why the f#ck we even discussing thios bollox?

Caklaghe eats pies for a living now, after cleaning himself up (i hope) and Carl is at the f#cking absolute zenith of his prowess in the ring.

maybe they should both have a kitchen floor tiling competition -- i know ho'd my money'd be on!!!

Bika was never part of the super six he was a keep busy fight for Ward. Bute beat Bika though, his biggest test was ment to be Glen Johnson but they just had a sparring session, apparently Johnson was injured aswell. I will not call a fighter a Hype job until it has been proven and it takes more than one defeat to do that....Abraham and Bute may still go on to win v top opposititon.
