As much as Im a fan of Carl and as good as last night was, a prime joe still beats him. I'd sill have joe beating ward though so its nothing to be ashamed of.

Well you always have this thought that Carl would walk straight through Calzaghes punches, but he tried that against Ward and it did not work. I think the Calzaghe that beat Lacy and Kessler would have a Froch fight 60-40 in Calzaghes Favour. The Calzaghe that fought Hopkins and Jones gets pressured and worn down to a points loss. I much much much prefer Froch as a boxer and a person, Calzaghe was just a good boxer and as a person I did not take to him. Look at there records though, Froch has fought extreme high competition for 4 years, Calzaghes best win was over a hyped up Lacy, although the Kessler win was great. If anyone deserves the hall of fame then I pick Froch over Calzaghe everyday.

Carl v Joe would be an interesting fight......I think the more important question is who has the better career and that goes to Carl by a country mile.

Joe had that little bit extra when he stepped up in class but he feasted on bodybags for a long time in between the top guys. I think Joe would have beat Carl because he is just a bit busier and a bit more slicker but how would have Joe fared facing so many top guys one after the other. I also think Joe beats Ward in the same way he beats Carl but there is no way Calzaghe and his promoter at the time had the cajones to face big name after big name like this lot have done. They will both walk into the HOF and deservedly so. I can see why the fight didn't happen the only thing we can say in both guys favour that once Joe retired Carl stepped up and carried the torch providing more exciting fights and shut up the doubters along the way.

If Carl wins the WBO and WBA beats both ward and Kessler and steps up to Light-Heavy and wins a world title or beats number 1 in that division Ill agree. I really like both but Joe was on a different level of class.

Lacy was overhyped, Bute was much more dangerous because he can actually outbox people, c'mon man.

Because he beats Glen Johnson LOOOOOOOOOOOL, come on what ? He fought NO-ONE ! Fact, everyone knows. Froch wouldn't do that to Ward or Kessler what he did to Bute last night. Dirrell gave Froch hell in Nottingham and in my opinion got robbed, Dirrell would beat Bute. Not much of an achievement as you Froch nut-huggers think. He beat an un-tested phonie. Gennady Golovkin Knocked Bute the F*ck out in the Am's. Bute is what you call an overated fighter.

Joes the greatest super middleweight in my eyes, he's 46-0 for a reason.
I'm a froch fan, but talking about calzaghe is ridiculous
