Yes mate saw it on friday.
Good enough performance against a guy who should not have been in there with Gavin.
Would like to see him in with Witter next.
Gavins body still dont look great, he definately does not look like a welter.

Didn't see the fight but everytime i see Gavin it's clear he is not a Welter and any step in class will see him bullied imo.

He's not even a big or strong guy at Light welter either imo.

nope. tried to follow him when he was on sky but that was hard enough with his erratic behaviour. Along with mitchell hes the best technically gifted boxer in britain. its such a shame hes a wasted talent because he has no dedication. Should be fighting a weight down if not 2 weight down got a high body fat and low definition.

He will merge into obscurity on BN. Bye frankie, you couldve been great

I agree with you on this.

He def is a talent.

I hope he doesn't chuck it all away.

Think he is fighting at welter because it is easier to make weight but think he is more light welter or even lightweight.

Still as long as he gets his ass in gear he has still got time.

He needs to go in against a decent opponent and look good - they should match Gavin and Barrera up IMO.

Would be a good fight for Gavin if he looked good and get him back on the right track.

Yeah watched this friday. Komjathi wasn't the most capable opponent but I was impressed the way Gavin set about him aggressively whilst barely taking a punch. I like the way he has a bit more drive and spite in his work. The distance, the straight punching and the body punching is exceptional and I can't wait to see him in a real test.

Selby looked good in the main event, similar skills to frankie and I liked the way he stuck the lad in the corner and got rid of him at the end. Think Selby could go very far, hits hard, good chin, great skills, confidence and has a real bit of spite in him to boot.

Looking forward to seeing both progress.

Not only is Gavin nowhere near a proper 147 fighter. He doesnt seem to have made any effort to become one either. He still looks like he did in the Ams, just flabbier in places.

Ditto. I closed the page when that came on.

That fight does absolutely nothing for me for some reason, I was trying to think how what it compares to and sadly it goes in the panto box with david v audley and mayweather v big show.
