Cheers dexter! Hopefully keep it up then 2 week time put it outside the door then remove the mat! It's so exciting where do you even start her coming back to you off the lead etc ha!

Well she seems to of not used the mat again since but seems to associate the hallway with her toilet now so got a mat in the hallway

Mate thats a mistake your letting the dog lead you, you have to be pack leader dogs like order and knowing there place show her who's boss also its very early days for toilet training you want the dog trained so it know the times and place it gets for the toilet. Just be patient it takes time but the rewards are worth it.

try newspaper mate, mine couldnt quite figure out what those mats were all about so i put paper down and they went straight on it

With both my dogs I have opened the door and told them to go out for "wee wee's".

When they have done a wee,I then used to reward them with kibble.

It only took a couple of weeks (although a few times I circled the kitchen doors in pee whilst picking up my little dog whilst it was starting to wee Grin)
