Yes true I only ask as I once heard that they feel "safer" in a cage more than they would a bed!
Maybe get one of those plastic ones like you say and fill it
Yeah I heard that to some dogs do some don't it depends which way you want to go I let my dog wonder about the house when I'm not in and he's normally fine ( don't leave collars on ) its up to you mate sometimes there is no right or wrong answer.

Buy the matts I told you about there kinda like nappies you sit them at the back door after two weeks you move it to the outside of the back door. My lad was a nightmare tried everything and he wouldn't pee outside on the matt yes so he peed on the floor next to the matt I took my dads advice rubbed his nose in it and from that day on he went outside. They will have accidents up until about 12 months but in general she should be trained after a month to six weeks in the home. What food are you using ?

Yeah got the matts but no sign of being used yet apart from being dragged around the house or to rip into bits! She tends to sniff around before doing her business where in time if we manage to catch her put her on the mat and reward her! Trying to shout her is like talking to a brick wall so I think that's going to take some time! Ha The food is the pedigree stuff fed her this morning half a cup with some boiling water to mush it up a little didn't eat it all but the little burp she did told me that was enough ha

Yip they just wanta play takes time mate you'll get there. Its not shouting its the tone in your voice she won't at this stage understand words or shouting sounds daft but reward with a high pitched goooooddd girrrlll and when in the wrong a deep bbbbaaaaadddd. If your married or live with a girl you might find she will be better at it than you us mens voices tend to be to deep for the pup to understand at first ladies seem to have more success. Also in a few weeks get an empty tin of beer and fill it a quarter full with 1 and 2p's and when she does something wrong use the 'bad' command whilst shaking the can in her ear, its very much a punishment just don't over use it or it loses its effect.

Yeah I understand what your saying mate! Tried getting her to sit down last night with a treat as she just jumps all over so push her down and SIT takes a good few times but finally does it, so give her the treat to a goooood giiirrrrlll and the tail goes like crazy ha which I think is a good sign! She's more comical at the moment! Bought her a decent toy when got her yesterday £10 and you should of seen the dam mess this morning I woke up to! But you have to laugh

aww cute... pics please! I was quite lucky with my 2 dogs.. maybe because they were from the same litter but they instinctively sat by the door when they needed to go out and hardly chewed anything as they played together, the one time they chewed something it was their bed so i took it away for a while and they didnt chew anything else... but as i said i think i was just very lucky.
You'll have so much much with her, enjoy the cute puppy phase! be calm and patient but be firm when needed

Crazy mate! You will hear a almighty thud in the living room and it will be her belly flopping of couch! Just had to pull her away from chewing through the dam tv power cable

Good move on the bed thats exactly the type I meant. She's a cracker mate. An old lady once told me that dogs only want one thing from us love as long as you love her she'll love you back no matter what she won't care if your rich or poor black or white. I've found that to be very true, they just want to please you.
Oh take loads of pics just now because they don't stay puppies for long.
