47-1, that's a statistical whitewash.
Somebody has uploaded a russian-commentator version of the fight. I might watch that or even mute it to see if that changes my understanding of the action (which I doubt).

Esteemed figures such as Thomas Hauser, Adam Booth, Kevin Mare and the aforementioned Flexen all scored for Bradley, Joe Gallagher had it even Still the minority but i am of the same opinion as Red, this was a close fight and certainly not on the level of Rios - Abril

Sometimes it's what you want to see. Personally I don't give Bradley credit for landing 3 or 4 light jabs that barely flicked Manny's face when he gets slammed with 2 hard shots in return. Effective aggression. Even if it was a volume thing, he would have landed more than Manny - which he didn't. I had it 117-111 Pacquiao or 9 rounds to 3, but could quite easily have scored 1 or 2 rounds differently.
Rios - Abril was far worse you are right. Rios didn't even look busy!

I thought Rios was busy in that fight. The problem was he was punching at nothing. It was embarrassing how pointless his attacks were. Not that I'm justifying the decision; it was terrible. Just Abril spent too long admiring his defensive work and not enough time putting Rios to bed.

I find it astonishing that anyone could make a case for Bradley even being competitive in the fight. So what if Manny took some time to step on the gas in most of the rounds? Did Bradley force the issue and make Manny pay for being economical with his punch output? Not at any stage did that happen. Every time Manny threw anything, Bradley looked troubled and was physically moved by the punches whether he moved them or not. Even Clottey actually landed more decent shots on Pacquiao than Bradley did and he was virtually whitewashed on the cards. I just do not see at all what Bradley did in the fight to give the impression that he could have even nicked a share of the rounds. I switched it off after the 12th round had finished because I thought the result was a forgone conclusion. Never been so shocked to be proved wrong in all my time watching boxing.
