Glad.

Bunch of noisy wankers ruined many a Hatton fight of any natural atmosphere.

That being said, there didn't seem much of an atmosphere there at all yesterday.

Good. I'm a Wednesday fan and can't stand them. To make it worse, they are absolutely shameless - will attend an opening of an envelope. They know 3 tunes and have butchered them remorselessly for FIFTEEN years.

They bandwagon jump and grin like idiots when they are ruining everybody elses enjoyment. No wonder people hate the English....

Oh, and now, wait for it....they are actually called "The PUKKA PIES official England supporters band". Pass the bucket.

Over & out.

So much respect for this, went there with Yeo in January and no Wednesday fan could stand them. Have mates who go to all england games and hate them, they get shitty if anyone else starts a song and thing they're above everyone else in the whole of english football.

And like you said, they know about three tunes, kills any atmosphere at Hillsborough and England games

I knew they were wednesday fans, but are you saying they are at your place every week? Was looking forward to the game up at yours this season - not anymore  Cry don't remember them being there last time I went but that was a while back maybe I got lucky!!

They are a joke, truly detest what they (and their like ie any drummer etc at grounds) does to a natural atmsophere.

On an even worse note I hear they will now be allowed to the game tomorrow.

They used to be there every week mate but people were getting pissed off so they are still there but not every game. I think they started dropping off when they got bigtime, sponsored by The Sun (brilliant PR for a team based at Hillsborough :-( ) and followed Ricky Hatton to Vegas and as I say attended the opening of an envelope.

I was at Spurs about 12 years ago when we won 1-0 away and the band were there still bloody playing as everyone came out the ground. Then I just heard this booming Ray Winstone über-Cockney voice shout "BANG THAT F***ING DRUM JUST 1 MORE TIME YOU C***".

You could hear a pin drop as the band fell very, very silent :-)

The North Stand was shut due to health and safety reasons and also there was a rail strike that prevented Saints fans from travelling. It was a red hot day and it was on TV and despite Saints fans being allocated 4000 tickets and allowed to pay on the gate they didn't sell there allocation and the crowd was pretty poor with all factors considered.
I seriously doubt Wigan wanted to scupper anyone from going but they had no choice. With the way Saints got dominated in that game any atmosphere they wanted to manufacture would have been piped down so luckily they saved a few quid crying in front of the TV instead. Cry

Having a drum cries of desperation for an atmosphere a la Bradford bulls.
