Rhodes loses through a perfect body shot in round 7. A decent fight I had Rabchenko 2 up until the stoppage. Not seen a fighter take a body shot so painful since Castillo. Rhodes still as a bit to offer he rocked Rabchenko with a good combo in round 3 and frustrated him. He says he is boxing on we will see at what level though.

Rhodes gave a good account of himself in spells, but their respective careers are at different heights at the moment.

Rhodes is looking at the end, whilst Rabchenko's is in ascension.

Said he'd continue in the post fight interview.

He was tired, hands down, body and head open by the time he got caught.

I would quite like to see Rabchenko in with Alvarez after that.

Rabchenko is solid but not very skilled a typical eastern european fighter. I bet Rose would take the fight tomorrow if it was offered to him because I see him very beatable. Got to give him his props though he is tough and as a made a statement tonight. It also gives Ricky a leg up as a trainer getting a European Champion in your debut title fight is something to be proud about.

Is anybody watching this Towers fight how he survived the 5th I will never know. I already know the result as it was fought earlier but he looked pissed in 5th if a better ref was in ring he would have been stopped.

It is awful reffing. terrible fight  Sad

both guys have looked ruined and I agree another ref might easily have stopped towers in that fifth.

It may be the worse Heavyweight fight ever staged in the UK it makes a Fraudley fight look like Barrera - Morales. The ref was a joke worse ref I have seen since Reid - Ottke and he was corrupt.

Loads of kicking off in the stands after the Quigg v Munroe fight. Loads and loads.

I had Rabchenko 2 up purely on work rate. Ryan didn't waste much but didn't do enough to dissuade him. Time to hang them up.

I thought Towers was going to fall out of the ring on to Razz. Was right in front of us, he was gone.

I saw all the ringside fans look behind for a good 5 minutes straight after the fight was over you could tell there was trouble even though it never got mentioned on Sky. I saw Ray Jennings Mikey's Dad was doing security he does all the Hatton shows for Jennings security I bet he had his hands full tonight.
Did they show the Murray fight at all I heard he won on pts by 5 rounds in a pretty boring fight.

You probably spent the night looking at the back of my head.

Towers v Tony was the worst/best/funniest/most tragic fight I've ever seen.

Johnny nelson was wetting himself in the studio when talking about the towers fight!

What's the venue like for boxing? Hard to tell from the tv obviously but have heard people moan about it in the past I assumed it would be ok.
