Did anyone see Newsnight the other night when Jeremy Paxman tore that poor minister to pieces. I thought at one point she either stand up and walk away or burst into tears.

Paxman is a bully, that Minister was woefully unprepared to be on Newsnight but he is a nasty piece of work

Paxman is more interested in winning or losing the argument, that the point of the debate.

He is a c*nt.

Agreed, he was hunting her down and the point became irrelevant, at the end as a parting shot, are you incompetent was it? Er maybe she isn't media savvy and maybe it was Paxman that was incompetent as a host for not accommodating that

The point was raised that she had no place being there as was obviously careful in revealing when certain decisions were made that day to scrap the 3p fuel duty. I felt sorry for her she showed a lot of loyalty to her bosses in the treasury who basically hung her out to dry.

He as a very obnoxious attitude but I have seen both Martin McGuiness and George Galloway get the better of him. He is a bit of a bully but at least he gets to the point and makes politicians be in account of there actions and policies. You can't go infront of him and try to bullshit your way through he just verbally rapes people. Adam Boulton on Sky obviously is working under News Corporations manifesto so he is hardly impartial unlike Paxman who as no allies in politics.
