Jesus all they are doing now is making excuses why Andy lost! Murray had some great chances to take the lead and should've. He didn't and suffered for it. Fed wasn't at his best for 2 sets and then found his mojo. I dislike tennis but i enjoy watching Fed.

Poor Murray looked heart broke at the end you can't take away his effort but Federer was just a level above him. Murray will win a major at some point even the Olympics next month might be his first big honour.

The Scottish tosser lost then? His display of emotion at the end will do his cause no harm, though. We Brits just love a loser, and a good loser even more!

Fantastic game and a great effort by both. Fed played as well as he has for many years, but andy was equally brilliant at times. Fed is the greatest ever to play and Murray stretched him for every minute of every game, he also showed how much it meant at the end. Very proud of the British tennis great andy Murray. For the record, andy also sees himself as British and would rather see Scotland as part of gb not independent. Gb and proud.

We are always good with those who give their all, even if they lose. And then no excuses afterwards. That's why David Haye can go fook himself!

I felt sorry for Murray at the end, I give him credit for wanting it so much. He was more gutted yesterday than I have seen any sports man or women in a good while.
I only found out yesterday that Murray was a kid at the dunblane (spelling?) School massacre, he only survived through hiding under a table apparently. If that's true ill be hard pushed to call him miserable or anything in the future, going through that at any age and having all your friends killed will have a serious permanent effect on anyone.
Having achieved what he has now knowing the above I respect the guy a hell of a lot more.

Good to see Alex Salmond there supporting a true Scot in every sense of the word also good to see Simon Fullers media influence is working as well.

I thought it was Paul Young for the first 3 rounds. If he'd won yesterday he'd have made close to a 120 million in a year. He lost correctly yesterday personally I prefer the moody brooding Scottish Andy.

All the attention whores were out in force yesterday I knew Beckham and his miserable wife would be there it just about sums them up. I can understand genuine tennis fans wanting to be there and there there is countless people in the public there for no other reason than to get a camera lens on themselves.
