Chael is ice cold! Silva wants him dead!

I fully expect silva to win this but I'm really rooting for sonnen. I cant help but listen everytime he does an interview or Q+A. He's a born entertainer.

I fear for Sonnen in this fight! Anderson wants blood. Chael looked very nervous i thought! Im hoping Chael wins but i just know Silva is going to destroy him this time.

Yeah I agree mate. Silva will be fit and 100 % up for this fight more than any fight he has fought before. I think he will destroy Sonnen second time around.  Sad Angry

He's getting stomped, then stopped! I have to look after the little one the weekend as the wife is away, This could be an all nighter staying up and the following day!

100% fit my arse, had he won easy the first time you would never have heard about this si called rib injury.

Chael brings the fight and could take down a house, this fight is one I could see a hundred outcomes for. The fact Anderson says this and that means little, the only proof we have is that chael can defiantly give Anderson hell

 Grin

So you don't think he took sonnen lightly the first fight then? I don't care which Chael shows up, the one that looked like superman against Silva in their first fight or the distinctly average performance against Bisping... a guy more his level. A motivated Silva will toy and humiliate Chael.

I'm rooting for Team sonnen but this outcome will be predictable. A motivated Silva is on another level than anyone else besides Jon Jones.

He couldn't take Bisping down! Though Silva is a lot easier to take down if you can get close to him. He's going to have to eat a lot of punches to get inside, but thats what I love about Chael he's happy to eat them!

I have no doubt Silva was injured, to what extend and how bad it effected him we'll never know. Most fighters go into fights injured.
Silva didn't really expect Sonnen to do what he done last time out and this time will be prepared for it. I fear Chael had his great chance and didn't take it.

The weigh tonight could be epic, though I heard last night he was 21 lbs over the limit so will have to do some serious weight cutting to make the weight!!

What Chael could and could not do against Bispind is not relevant, Bisping has some serious take down defences and was an opponent he had to prepare for in short notice. Bisping's style is miles different to Anderson's also so to say not doing this against Mr x means this can not really be a valid argument.

Has Anderson in the UFC ever had a change of opponent at late notice? Not that I can recall.

When guys within the business are split on there predictions pretty much, you know it is a real fight.
UFC 148: Silva vs. Sonnen predictions

From what I can think, Anderson has never faced a top wrestler besides Chael in the UFC and it was that style everyone wanted to see him face. The one time he does he gets destroyed for pretty much the whole fight

Franklin, Lieben, Okami, Cote (joke of a fight), Belfort etc, all of them guys fought more stand up and did that against Anderson, Maia was Ju Jitsu and while very good his take down attempts at times can look average even not against Silva.

Dan Henderson is the best one I can think of but his best accomplishments seem to have come by his fists more than anything in the few years I have seen him, what he was doing years ago before I got into MMA is another thing.

Regardless of that though, Chaels wrestling is spoken of as more of his strength than Hendersons seems to be of his.

You said he could take down a house?!! I said well he couldn't take down Bisping! Wasn't an argument it was a fact!!

Come Saturday the best man will win. Chael couldn't beat Silva first time around when he should've have! there is no way he's going to beat him when he's up for it like this time.

Did you not see the two takedowns in the first round? Or the complete domination in the third round?

That is a fair point. 3rd round he did do well. Though he should count his lucky stars he got the decision. Let's be honest here, Chael is very funny, but he Is just a glorified Jon Fitch! Very boring to watch and if he didn't talk like he  did he would'nt be talked about like Fitch .

Don't get me wrong I really like Chael, but he's in deep trouble!
