I wouldn't rule out anybody to beat Khan. He's just that type of fighter where anything can happen. I don't think he's that good and he has glaring flaws that opponents can exploit. I'll pick Khan to win on points on Saturday but it wouldn't shock me if Garcia won.

Whilst I think Khan will win comfortably against Garcia, I pretty much agree with the sentiment.  I guess it is part of what makes Khan a compelling fighter - he's looked vulnerable at nearly every level, whether it was being wobbled by Graham Earl or being bounced around by Maidana.

So if Khan isnt that good we can expect a few more unified world champions by the age of 24 then?.... Look forward to it.

I think Khan will win by KO by round 5/6 but if not then a UD by winning almost all of the first 8/9 rounds (and maybe surviving last 3/4 rounds). I wasn't that impressed with Garcia against Morales..

WBA & IBF.

And where was the WBC? Not sure what era of boxing you first got into but I'm from the times when they almost exclusively used the word "unify" for fights that involve the big three.

That's undisputed.

When two guys with belts fight, it is called a unification fight.  The winner leaves a unified champion.  To be undisputed, you need to own 3 or more of the credible alphabet titles in a division.

after watching behind the ropes last night and how easy Khan was getting pelted in sparring i think if Garcia can weather the early storm he will stop Khan.

normally u can read too much into sparring as you dont know how early in the camp it is, but this was when Roach was away with Chavez whhich was less that 2 weeks ago and the 2nd session Roach was back so it was last week. that is close to fight night and probably the last few sparring sessions you would do.

that first sparring session was dreadful.. amir has to remember he is not a bloody slugger, he is a boxer and boxes well behind a jab.

he tries any of that silly bollocks sat night we will see him losing, he reminded me of his rushed attempt at breidis prescott and we all know how that ended.

i would have been going f***ing tits at him for swinging away like that.

the fact of the matter is amir is never going to be a 'POWER' puncher.. he is a fast in and out pure boxer.

he keeps re-iterating that his power is this that and the other.. that sparring session showed me it is still the same as before.

ive got a funny feeling hes going to come unstuck staurday night, once again the mayweather comments and overlooking people is kicking in again.

agree

maybe im reading too much into it yesterday but i also got the feeling deep down hes lacking in confidence. if you watch the scene where hes getting his hair cut hes almost seeking assurance from the barber, and ends most sentences as if hes asking a question

I'm tipping Garcia to win by TKO should be an entertaining fight... the Khan ones always are once he gets tagged and he's not hard to hit.
