Thing is Tito comparing Leonard to Mayweather. Ability level wise they are similar, I just can't see Leonard being reluctant to fight say a a Chavez of his time apart from the fact Ray was so much bigger. Leonard fought a light heavy, all be it an average one in Donny Lalonde at a catch weight but also a good one in Hearns II where Tommy was huge and said himself he was amazed that Ray was still basically a small light middle.( Hearns won the fight if not on the judges scorecard)

Mayweather doesn't act like that.

And I don't boast, never have.

Lol's.

Check out my articles .....

When I interviewed Tommy Morrison......

My friend in the Mayweather camp.....

I go out to Vegas once a year (you don't, unless it's for Knight Rider).....

Yeah, he told me when I was at the press conference .....

Think I'll do a YouTube vid and put all my boxing memorabilia directly behind me.....

Lol's.

So he's not allowed to have any pride in his boxing credentials?  That's not boasting IMHO.

A fight with Chavez was never on the cards and the reason why is JCC had a lot of easy fights in between big fights which weren't very often considering how long his career was at the top. SRL was probably past his prime and far to big for JCC even when he was becoming a big name in the mid 80's to early 90s.
The only fighter who I personally would have loved to see face SRL was Pryor and again he was a career LWW who had a short career and never fulfilled his potential as a possible ATG. Mayweather through his career as always fought more naturally bigger Guys and beat them with pure talent and determination. Corrales, ODLH, Baldimer and Cotto have seen there biggest assets over Floyd get neutralised and he as basically out boxed them over a long period of there respective fights.

You are right Chavez though no bigger than Manny was too small mid eighties. Duran was Leonards Manny.

Fair play to him if he interested in pursuing some sort of career within Boxing but to have any credibility you have to have a balanced view. No one is telling me Skav isn't on a wind up with some of the things he as wrote on this topic if this was posted on other more busier forums it would get laughed at and ridiculed. If Skav is hoping to build a good reputation and get his work noticed he should pop up in pacland and swing off his little filipino idols balls once in a while because of his hate of Mayweather and love of all things paccy he will surely build a following amongst the one track minded self worshipping nuthuggers that prop up the Pacland forum.

I spilt tea on my keyboard again.  Poor Juan Manuel Marquez.  Maybe his problem was he was too big.

Mayweather has had reach advantage on practically everybody, as well as being taller than the majority.  Sure a few guys were shorter and bulkier, but that doesn't guarantee much other than generally being able to absorb more punishment.

Suck a bit harder on the Mayweather teet. Grin

Hey, if Mayweather is so great at beating all these bigger guys, why was he afraid to fight the smaller one? Grin

If there was ever a name that suited you I couldn't have picked a more deserving one  Wink
I agree the JMM fight was heavily in Floyd's favour and the fight panned out into a miss match. Mayweather fought Oscar at 154 when he was dictating all the terms to him in a weight class Floyd had never fought at. He fought Cotto at 154 when everybody thought it would be at WW. Then we have Pacroid who fought Oscar at a weight class Oscar had not made in 10 years and could barely throw a punch in a one sided beatdown. He fought Cotto at WW and wouldn't allow Cotto to come in at the maximum weight of 147 instead making it 144 and with a heavy penalty clause if Cotto came in heavier. Cotto who was struggling to make 147 as permantely moved to 154 after that fight and never got a fair shake because everything was geared in Manny's favour. He did the same with Margarito making him weigh in 4ibs under the maximum weight where is the integrity of Pacquaio and Arum when they are cherry picking weight classes and trying to make it some record breaking achievement.
As for Mayweather being afraid well a document was released not long ago stating Pacquaio refused a contract due to random testing. He walked away from it because he didn't like needles even though he is covered in tattoos and since all these PED allegations as slowly become less invincible. Mayweather as only ever got better his wins over Mosley and Cotto were as good as anything he did when he was at 135-140 from 2004 - 2006 when he was getting number 1 £4£ recognition.
Pacquaio as been beat in his career by body punches, out boxed by Morales and robbed in his last one and shown how he can be beat. There as only ever been 1 judge who as ever scored a fight against Floyd in his whole career that's a testament to how good he is.

I'll finish your little word association game that you started last time.

End.

That's not boasting but that's your interpretation. Are you on my fb list? How did you know I did a video? I have not posted my videos on this forum! And for your info, the reason the webcam was placed in such a position was because the lighting in my kitchen is much stronger than in my living room. The lighting was absolutely shite in there! Keep trying to be a smart ass because you're epically failing.  Want me to boast? I make more money in a month than you probably do in three months and that's why I have that lovely EXPENSIVE stuff behind me.  Wink There's your difference.

And Tito, I think you are putting too much stock into what I do, but I thank you for it. I sincerely do, actually. It's nothing more than a hobby of mine and I've always treated it as one. I have no plans to progress at all. It gives me something extra to do and nothing more. I'm no better than the countless number of internet writers out there, and there are many! If I knew that I had a future or a remote chance of progressing further then yes, I would be a bit more tactful with what I say. But as it stands, I'm just an internet boxing writer who's just a fan.

Lastly, I did present a balanced view! You obviously missed the posts where I presented Ali's underrated aspects but you chose to ignore them. I also criticised Pacquiao in this thread. Not my problem if you choose to ignore them. My input has been good.

i have also stated as to why i think your list is BS skav..

what i would like to see is you post your list on to the sites you do 'articles' for and make sure there is a comment box for people and see what you get.

In all the years that we have both been members of the same forums I had no idea you did any ''articles'' on any websites. It was only until you mentioned it 2 weeks ago I was aware you did anything regarding that so I can't agree with you on that I am putting to much stock in to what you do because ....in honesty I don't have a f***ing clue what you do until you mentioned it. I wouldn't reading some of your work though just to see that your not Scott Gilfoid in disguise  Wink

I have to say that I am a big fan of Ray Leonard. He could box and fight as fought every one. He was very fast, massively skilled and entertaining. Smiley

Genuine question, has someone hacked Skav's account?
He's normally an ok poster (nothing noteworthy) but inoffensive. He's turned into a right tit .
Final question... If this is skav and he makes all this money, why does he water down milk and eat f***ing mashed up tinned sausages with spaghetti?

haha!!  Grin

As an observer I was thinking the same to. Will the real Skav please stand up. (maybe those were poorly chosen words)

I think he's been kidnapped by that dude on here that was in support of child molesters in another thread last year. I can't remember his name though.  Skav is being forced against his will to type utter shite by the hairy biker dude. Thats my theory anyway.

(no offence skav)
