seeing as Broner is now moving up out of the 130lb division who do you think his next opponent will be? and will he be avoided like the plague or will fighters be queing up to try and knock 10 bells out of him?

Brandon Rios on boxingscene has already said he'd love to fight him
http://www.boxingscene.com/rios-im-not-scared-broner-love-fight-him--55306

what do you think the most likely option is, and what are everyones general thoughts on the guy?

I think he's a class fighter. I hate the Floyd hype, apart from his less effective shoulder roll, they havent many similarities, Broner relies on speed aggression and a hard punch.

I thin nost fighters will want to fight him and that he needs good opponents to make decent fights. The public dont care enough to watch him carefully guard his 0.

At this time of the morning, probably a double sausage and egg McMuffin meal with an extra hash brown.

I personally cant stand him and unless he starts getting serious he will come unstuck when he moves up in weight and class, and then people will be comparing him to Zab Judah instead of Floyd Mayweather.

Gd fighter. I can't believe he got made number one to the burns-mitchell winner by coming in over weight. Wtf is that all about?

When Khan was talking about stepping up to 147 before the first peterson fight, could he have weighed in heavy and become number one contender at the weight above if he won? Load of bollocks.

Give him his due though, he is a good fighter and will give a lot of people problems with that speed and strength.

Rios says he wants Broner.  That would be a great fight.

Wouldn't mind seeing Burns vs Broner obviously Broner would be favourite due to being undefeated but if Ricky can box a bit and keep him on the outside it won't be easy for Adrien. Saying that Though it's a joke that Broner weighs 133 for a fight at 130 and is then made mandatory at 135.

Rios and JMM are names he should be linked with I personally would love to see him face Guzman if he can make weight. I think its more likely he will face the DeMarco's of this world or if he is feeling brave Matthysse.

GBP and HBO will steer him towards Demarco coz he's Mexican and that will always draw passionate Mexican fans who hate the ground he walks on.
But Rios is a no goer coz style its a bad match up for Rios and Bob Arum will want no part of that since he hates dealing with Al Haymon. So the Rios bout is dead and burried,I don't care what Rios says,he knows Arum won't let him near Broner so he's just talking smack.

I like the kid,I feel he's good for sound bytes and HBO is encouraging his antics coz they know they have a future PPV attraction in him.Lets face it,Andre Ward is skilled but he's never gonna be a PPV fighter with his placid personality and fighting style. So they are looking at Broner to Bring in the controver$y.

To be honest, his Ring Credentials leave a lot to be desired coz he only won a VACANT title and we can only talk up his Resume once he actually beats a Champion.............that part is rather inevitable coz he's no Jeff Lacy........you can Quote me on that one.

DeMarco at 135. I get the feeling he wont be at the weight for long, so pick up a title in a tough, learning-fight and then head on up to 140. A Broner-Judah fight at 140 is a natural.

Well News just in that the Broner/Escobedo fight did excellent Ratings for HBO.
Some are pointing out to the negative Publicity drummed by Broner's antics which ignited Interest in this fight. He has connected with young fans and the Sport is happy about it.
As far as marketing goes, the fight was only put on HBO'S AFTER DARK,which is an offshoot of Main HBO channel. They did not even pump much money into the Bout, yet they have reaped dividends with staggering Ratings that are on Par with Main HBO Championship section of Higher end fights.
Now the September 8 card will sadly take a Big hit,coz HBO pumped in so much money to Pimp the fight but Ratings will be lukewarm at best.

I think it was the will they/won't they, isn't Broner a prick talk that was solely responsible for any interest in the fight.  Before the issues started at the weigh in there was next to no mention of this fight anywhere.
