MainEvent are a pack of gronks who think boxing only exist here and in America. They show one-sided mismatches instead of snapping up fights that on paper looked like crackers and ended up being so. European fighters don't get a look in with these clowns.
It goes to show just how out of touch they are with the boxing public here. No one here gives two shits about Broner, no one other then probably you and perhaps some other lost Mundine supporter. I spose, if I don't like it then just don't watch it line will come next and that's fair enough. It just irks me to think they will show this fat cutns fights against overmatched opponents and bypass the really good fights.
I've been told the decisions to show fights on MainEvent come down to 4 women, is it little wonder why we nearly always end up with comical mismatches?
Broner by the way will gain some interest here if and when Tomlinson steps in with him. The fight with Kickett didn't do it, he has been sparked again since by that joker Elomar.
*sigh*
I partly agree with a few things you said, especially some bad decisions Mainevent has made in not Televising some Eurpean Cards ie they pulled the Rag out of the Froch/Bute fight.
They have put too much Faith in Mundine even though he's passed his best and Danny Green the Blown Up Club Fighter who never defeated a single Champion.
But they have also made some good decisions like how they supported Katsidis,Daniel Geale fights and Kostya Tyzou was supported very well by them.
About Broner,I have some bad news for you.
His last fight will be Raplayed for Free on MAINEVENT every Wednesday Night throughout August and that guarantees one thing.........Exposure to the Broader Public(Especially young Audience) .
His antics no matter which way you look at them, will always attract young audience coz of that Rebellious streak he always puts on.
So contrary to your hopes, many viewers will actually tune to his October fight coz he's just hard to ignore once he's captured your attention.
Rightly or wrongly that's how the World works.
