The annoying thing is, this will fail miserably and ITV will probably sack off boxing again. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs a slap. Truly idiotic.

Renold who?
Didn't ITV try something similar with the football best part of 20 years ago only for it to bomb spectacularly? Even a quid wouldn't be competitive pricing for this as a PPV.

Let's wait until the price is confirmed...I don't mind paying up to 99p for this one.

Exactly......only need to ask any boxing fan with an iota of sense for an opinion to see how stupid an idea this is. Great for ITV to dip their toe back into boxing, but putting Eubank Jnr on PPV against a nobody is absolutely ludicrous. Whoever has come up with and/or OK'd this idea should be shot.

I don't like this man's face. He's quite difficult to look at.

In fairness his opponent has recently knocked out Daniel Geale who you could argue until Kell Brook was one of Golovkins biggest wins. PPV side of it is a joke mind.

Are you saying that Kell Brook was a bigger win for GGG then Geale? I'm not sure either were that great a win tbh....I'd have them on level par. Geale was a good win for Barker though.

Yeah of course he is Brook would do a number on Geale at any weight. The point I was making is that Quinlan must have something about him to match Golovkins best win prior to Brook.

Well not really. Golovkin beat Geale at a time where although he was a big favourite some still gave Geale a chance. No one ever gave Brook a chance because he never had one. Also I don't think Geale was Golovkins best win prior to Brook and I don't think Brook is his best win either, Murray takes that mantel imo as he made Golovkin work for it. Beating Geale isn't a claim to fame. Eubank makes this guy quit...easy.
