Imagine how embarrassed the bloke who Dubois's opponent beat must be watching at home.

What a complete disgrace that was. Pro debut or not, ridiculous that these kinds of contests can be sanctioned.

The Catterall-Gethin fight wasn't much better, though it may well have looked like Corrales-Castillo in comparison to Dubois and the fat fella.

Fairly crap start to this show.

Can't give Smith any respect for that win.

Williams only being one up on all score cards is embarrassing.

Very true. Especially as Gallagher was saying in between rounds that they didn't want Smith to win.

Smith comes across as a cock as well

shit scoring williams was up bigger than 1
locket is a great trainer (and to pull him out of such a big fight takes a lot of confidence in your fighter) and williams will win a world title
just the stanima issue in the later rounds is an issue

Smith/Williams was an excellent battle.....I thought Williams was ahead by 2 at the time of the stoppage, but Smith was definitely in the ascendancy before it was curtailed. To be fair Lockett said as much afterwards. A rematch obviously is interesting, but no real rush for that. They're both world class and Williams stock will rise even in defeat.

FW said that Crolla wasn't worth the money after he lost to Linares again. Looks like Flanagan should beg for that fight given the amount of empty seats in the arena when he's the main event.

Agreed it wasn't a good fight and Flanagan isn't very exciting at all.

Linares and Garcia would destroy him he doesn't hit hard enough to keep them from coming forward.

What did everyone think to the show as BT presented it last night? I thought punditry and commentary were very good, night & day between that and the Matchroom cheerleaders at Sky. Production was decent. The only thing that was poor was the bloke asking the questions after the fight forgetting to then hold them mic to the person he was asking the question to.

I think the fights will take sometime to getting go but like when Hearn took over at Sky some of the cards on there were pretty poor t begin with. Will be interesting to see if many Matchroom fighters defect to FW

I liked the look of Catterall last night having not been overly impressed with him in the past.

I didn't even realise he wasn't with Lee Beard any more. What's happened to Beard? he never seems to be able to hang on to a fighter for long.
