Hi All,

What does anyone think about the new format with BT Sport seeming to be actually taking over the shows?

I don't like the way (and I am sure they don't either) Bunce and his team have been sidelined to Mr Dempsey.

It is as if BT are the carrier and Boxnation are playing second fiddle.  I am sure this was all agreed before hand and the money is coming in.

But it is taking over some of the presentation in a way that takes away fro the boxing.  Plus every opportunity to advertise their other coverage of sports is annoying me.

Like I said though money talks.  But are we getting value for this money as subscribers?

The worst thing is that Paul Dempsey is essentially Alan Partridge with no redeeming features.

It's still early days and hopefully the additional funds will enable W***** to bring over more decent fighters to improve what's on offer.  I think getting Davis over for Walsh is a decent indicator when he has Floyd and Showtime behind him.

Give it time. When Hearn started with Brook as his main draw at Sheffield Ponds it was pretty poor but eventually took off. When FW gets more names coming over i think it will get better.

I actually don't mind Dempsey. The bloke interviewing however....

I like Paul Dempsey, he does come out with some bloopers and it nice to see Bunce calmed down.

I remember Dempsey utterly mauling a tearful Hatton after the Senchenko loss, it was in poor taste in my opinion.

He can be mean-spirited and lack compassion just to get his 2 pence in to state the obvious.

It's always been the case that BT are only showing a selection of the fights that BN carry.
