Never been the same fighter since he left Booth, He's arrogant and his own worst enemy. He only needs to look at Degale to see how he's progressed. Now Chunky can have his moments but losing to Groves was arguably the making of him whilst it was the down fall of Groves.

Groves to win by stoppage.

In fairness - If you use Badou Jack as a measure, then Groves and Degale are just as tightly matched as they were when they fought....... Degale was very lucky to nick a draw and Groves was within a round or two....

I've not been the biggest fan of Groves's personality since the Degale fight but i thought he came across really sincere in his post fight interview and it made me really pleased for him.

Hopefully he can make a few quid before he finishes.

I thought Groves came across really well in his interview, particularly with what he had to say about Gutneckt.

Really pleased for George, another excellent fight. Chudinov is a tough mother, his typical Russian/European style you felt may be a problem for Groves with the really high pace, George was going back with him and landing the better shots, looking the superior fighter but you certainly worried down the line and Chudinov's ability to take some excellent shots that George was landing, he did look immovable.

An excellent finish by George, how Chudinov did not go down but it was a good stoppage as he stopped defending himself, there is still fights for him down the line, I would have him back here, we certainly have a fair few fighters in the division.
As I've said really pleased for George, he got over that demon and did look as good as ever, let's see what he can go on to achieve, there's a few big domestic fights/unifications that he can get his teeth into and big fight feelings.

A touching interview from him post fight as mentioned, really pleased for him.

Totally agree with the above posters I was happy he got the world title and his comments after the fight made me warm to him even more.

If I was him I'd try get Degale in a money spinner he will perhaps have someone before that though.

I thought the same...the guy has matured so much over time and I'm really pleased to see him finally achieve his lifelong goal

Fair play to him, maybe this belt gives him a second run and picks him up.

Or maybe it's because this time he didn't storm out the ring in a tantrum like a child who'd been told he can't have the toy he wants at the supermarket.

Groves interviewed was cringe, wait till Degale slaps him and he goes on a rant about McGuigan being the worst trainer he ever had.

Groves is having surgery this week on his jaw, it was broken in round three of the fight.
