Very sad to hear that Errol has lost his fight against lung cancer, I got to know him when a PT he was great bloke  - Who can forget the  drama of the fight against Kaylor back in the day

good boxer,he came accross as a real nice guy
he was one of the boxers that made me watch boxing in the 80s
the kaylor fight and biuld up was great

his autobiography is a great read.

Errol grew up in a tough era, where casual and nasty racism was rife.

he decided to fight back and some of the tales in the book are when he recalls brawling with local white thugs in Coventry/
