I'd be very surprised if Hughie managed to knock Parker out. I'm expecting a controversial points decision for Fury.

Very very unlikely but at 40/1 I've had a tenner on it.

Linares/Campbell is a very interesting fight, a massive opportunity that could open some doors for Luke even if he loses (which I think he will). I think/hope he will do better than Crolla did last time because Campbell does have more skills, is a bit more elusive than Crolla and isn't as shop worn.

Linares with a late TKO for me or wide points, but i really hope I'm wrong.

If that happens then Campbell will have done a lot worse than Crolla did in the first fight.

Good job you're here mate.  Cheesy

Campbell will likely make Linares look slightly amateurish at times but ultimately get beat down....he may hold on for a points loss.

Hope Campbell wins but just can't see it.

Not sure about that reading of the fight, I've NEVER seen Linares close to being outboxed or made to look amateurish. I can't see Campbell beginning that particular trend.

He best hope he's able to use his height to establish a distance advantage against Linares, that's his best hope of winning a boxing match IMO. I

I think Mitchell certainly outboxed Linares in spells, but again, he was a very good boxer on his day and I'd fancy a much harder puncher than Campbell so had the ability to back Linares up until his eye went.

Which is why I said I fancied him to do better than Crolla did last time, when he got totally outclassed. Campbell won't have the advantage of hometown judges either.

TKO = worse than Crolla did last time.
Wide points loss = the same as Crolla last time.

Neither outcome amounts to Campbell doing better than Crolla in either fight.

I have seen a lot of training footage of Lineras in the build up hitting pads etc this is always different from hitting a live opponent but he looks in beast mode and I really can't see Campbell lasting against this guy....

He can suffer either loss and do better in the actual fight than Crolla did, as in being more competitive and a live opponent, which is what I meant, picky bastard.  Smiley

Expecting Linares to win by decision, I don't think Linares is as good as everyone bangs on about - he beat a fairly limited fighting in Crolla who is more heart than skill. I can definitely see how Campbell can win this fight but have to learn towards Linares experience to get a UD. Hope Luke can do it though.

Fury I actually think will win, although his competition has been poor and had long periods of inactivity. Although remember watching the Andy Ruiz Jr fight and he looked so poor and again not great in his last fight. I do think Hughie is a good fighter and if he fights a disciplined fight which I think he will then I can see him taking a decision.
