Good win last night for Sergey Kovalev with Adnois Stevens still holding a belt and the exciting Dmitry Bivol and Artur Beterbiev holding the other belts this is a division on the up? We also have our own Anthony Yarde who's really impressed me with his speed power and movement. Lot of big fights ahead.

This is should be one of the most exiting divisions in boxing for the next few years. Hopefully its not held back by promotors and broadcasters.

I think Stevenson either needs to start having real fights or retire, hes been holding the belt hostage for way too long. Any of the Russian lads fighting each other would make for great fights though.

I was going to make a thread myself on this stacked division with of course a few of the big names featuring last night.

Only earlier on this week I was creating a playlist on Youtube focusing on the glory days of this division in the late 70's and early 80's which of course produced some fantastic fights, I've only managed to see a couple so far.

Now there is so much potential with Bivol and Gvodzyk being the particular stand outs for me, then you have Beterbiev, Barrera, Kovalev, Jack and Stevenson if he fancies the challenge of these new comers or even the Kovalev fight which would still be huge.

Any of those combination of fights.. tough! Can't wait for them to start next year, the most exciting and brutal division in the sport at the moment.

I wonder if there is any way that the WBSS guys could get the 175 guys together for their next series.

Kovalev, Stevenson, Beterbiev, Bivol, Gvozdyk, Alvarez, Barrera and Jack would be some line-up.  Marcus Browne would be a decent substitute as well.
