Gladiator was a boxing film i loved when i was a kid as i was about 12 the first time i seen it.Cuba Gooding Jr was in it and was fairly young.

A story of two teenagers trapped in the world of illegal underground boxing. One is fighting to save his fathers life and using the money pay off gambling debts accumulated by his father. The second is fighting for the money to get out of the ghettos. While being exploited by a boxing promoter the two teens become friends. An explosive ending puts the two friends in the ring against each other in a fight for survival

Saw Robin Hood last night.

Decent film but almost everyone had an Irish accent! By the end me and my mate were laughing so hard because the harder they tried to do an English accent the more it came out Irish.

Was too funny.

I loved that film. Top of the head, hardest part of the body.

Watched Killer Elite this morning with Jason Statham and Robert De Niro, based on 'The Feather men' a true story by Ranulph Fiennes, good film

Also watched Machine Gun Preacher which I posted about a while back, another good film based on a true story about Sam Childers and the LRA - those who watched the KONY video should know about him, bit grim at times and have the upmost respect for the fella and his work

Got quite a few to watch at the moment, anyone seen anything of note?

Hall pass on sky movies, not bad. Not as hilarious as people say though.

Got the original Star Wars trilogy on Blu Ray to show the kids. It's fantastic conversion. Lasers flying over your shoulder on surround sound during battles.

Also got remaster Alien collection. Watched the original Alien, still the best by far. Very dark, a true horror. Looking forward to Promethius this summer.

Just ordered Hugo 3D and Tin Tin 3D movies.

Just saw Contraband. Not great, predictable and nothing that hasn't been done a hundred times. If you have seen Gone in 60 seconds then you have seen Contraband.

Dug out Star Trek First contact over the weekend, forgot how good it it

Saw Pirates last weekend. Complete load of poo. Not funny as all.

30 minutes or less is a decent film.

Overall haven't seen nothing great lately. Got my new Samsung 8 series 40inch LED smart t.v coming tomorrow. Hope some decent films start coming out to take full advantage of it with a bluray film.

Went to watch that hunger games last week.

After all the hype I can't say I was that impressed.

Apparently it broke records for sales in the opening week as well.

There just doesn't seem to be much about it and the storyline was quite weak.  I'd say it was average.

Fancy watching that battleship when it's out though.

Great minds  Grin

@777

Sorry mate.

As Dexter said, it's watchable but you'll pretty much figure out whats going to happen in 10 minutes flat.

Mission impossible: Ghost Protocol. Not sure what to make of it. It's like they got all the ingredients for a great film but didn't know how to put it all together.
