What do you guys think of this as a tattoo design?
I'm inspired by the Mayweather 'hard word, dedication' philosophy, having set up my travel agency in the UK and Hong Kong over the last 5 years, which has taken a lot of hard work and dedication (especially in Hong Kong, where I have had various setbacks, and it has taken from Sept 2011 until April 2012 just to get a travel agency licence approved.)
So I started looking for Latin phrases involving these words. I thought that just words at the top of my left arm would look too plain though, so I started looking for emblems with suitable phrases.
I then thought about getting in touch with my Latin teacher from my secondary school - Altrincham Grammar, when I stumbled across a link showing the school's motto - Labor Omnia Vincit - Hard work conquers all. I had forgotten that this was the school's motto, as I left school in 1998. I then found the below image (I'd take the 1908 date at the bottom out though, and probably leave that bit blank.)
The main issue is finding a good tattoo artist, and I know nothing about tattoo artists in Hong Kong, although I can ask for recommendations from HK friends on Facebook I guess..
My only other tattoo was done by Louis Molloy, a few years ago. He was incredibly popular at the time, and I was on a 6 month waiting list, but he is even more popular now, with other projects on the go too internationally, so the chances of getting him, when I'm rarely in the UK any more, are slim.
I'm back in Manchester 22nd-29th December, so there's a few days there where I could get it done by someone good in Manchester, and I have time to get on any waiting lists between now and then, but it might be tough with it being during Christmas.
Does anyone have any suggestions for Manchester based artists that I could contact for a Christmas appointment, other than Louis Molloy?
Edit: Someone has recommended this girl in HK, the waiting list is over a year though:
