what other ideas do you have apart from your gladiator one? make sure it goes well with your other sleeve

I really like portrait style images, so warming to the idea of japanese women like these

go to the gallery http://tattoos.co.uk/galleries/main/ if you want to see a bigger version.

Then again ive found this which i love as a piece of art of an old roman warrior, I think incorporated into the right sleeve this could look stunning

Oh and I love this

Is it a full sleeve your after? if so IMHO i think the gladiator/roman theme would probably work better are you have so many things that could be used as a "filler", faces, buildings, tigers etc where if you just have faces it would be difficult to find something that fits, also it would look great with your boxing sleeve (different ways of showmanship, fights throughout the years) I know you like the sugar skull style girl portraits but that would look equally good on your calf or something? Up to you though but thought i'd chuck my 2p worth in

I appreciate your input, and I agree thats why im holding off anything else as the gladiator thing will have everything needed for a good sleeve.

problem is i am struggling to visualise it as a complete tattoo and also struggling to find the correct images

I'm sure louis would make it amazing, you've got things like the collosium that can go in the background, old roman coins are great, armour, swords, roman numerals for any significant dates, they did also have female gladiators back in those days so you could incorporate a woman in there if you wanted, tigers were used in the arena, there are loads of things, if you can just find a butt load of images louis will pull it all together nicely. i'll have a look and see if i can find anything when i have a mo too

this is true, but lucky louis is a bloody good artist (hate to admit that as i think he's a tosser), so you never know he might draw you something up thats amazing

He wont draw a whole piece for some reason, he prefers to just put bit by bit and connect them which isnt really the way i like it done.

Best one ive seen as a tattoo was this, wont work as a sleeve tho

Got one on my back unfortunately. Yeh I added the gladiator, the sword and the skulls using photoshop just to give the tattooist an idea of the kind of look I'm going for.

What are your thoughts on it?
