« on: October 27, 2009, 01:51:30 PM »

I have decided to get a full sleeve but i am really struggling to find any decent ideas/designs. Does anyone know of any decent websites, ect.

I am in no rush, i have just spoke to the tattooist where i want it done and he is booked up until May. Shocked  Thanks.

If you've got a rough idea of what you want then if you book in then he/she should be able to come up with a design that would work with you and suit your body shape... thats what i do with mine anyway, alot of tattooists like it when you give them an outlined idea and they can run with it and use their input.

heres another one i use everymow and then for inspiration and placement, but if you get yours designed thats your best bet... you dont want to have the same thing as someone else.
Any idea of theme? japanese, black/grey, boxing, tribal anything like that?

Yes i want something original ideally. I want it in grey wash (?), nothing too dark ie demons, etc- not my thing. Possibly a saint theme with somehting to symbolise my 2 kids as i already have their names elsewhere.

Mentioned it in the other thread, my sleeve is an angels and demons theme but it's the demons in fire under the light of angels, a cross, clouds and cherubs

Loads of ideas though for just a saintly theme like above, cherubs to symbolise your kids, you could also have praying hands, a prayer, scroll with your kids names, Rosary beads etc

At the end of the day it's whatever is personal to you, mine all has a meaning behind each part of it or I wouldn't have had it done, I took some ideas into my tattooist and whilst it's changed since I first had the idea it's evolved into something I wanted

I'd be looking at someone else though, May is a ridiculous time to wait, I was reading about a really good artist in a Tattoo mag from Bolton, will try and find the details
