floyds defense is disgustingly superior and short of boring to watch for me. I just prefer a fighter; if I wanna see some bouncing around, I watch something else. I cant deny his talent but I can deny him my sympathies. Give me a Manny or Cotto, Hatton, Marquez etc any time.

I understand that floyds bobbing slipping weaving blocking etc is effective, combined with his long arms even more so, but I dont like how he bends down to kiss the ground. Is this legal? He should do only one Thai fight and he'd get nailed by a knee.

I hope, Manny can rise above himself if ever they fight and that pretty boy has diarrhea hours before the fight (and during  Grin) I actually hope that Mosley does the trick. Throwing wild punches wont do; he must go for the body, kidneys and arms.

thanks for the vid RED. Why many people ask how and why do i like floyds fights. His defense and countering are the main reason and i can watch this video all day and never get sick of it.

The best offensive fighter in the game against the best defensive fighter in the game... Can't wait to see it.

These two are just in another league. Clearly the top two fighters in the sport. I lean towards Mayweather but Pacman's speed combined with power, workrate and aggression will make things very interesting. Floyd certainly won't be able to pot shot his way to victory like he has done in the past as he could end up a loser on the scorecards. Mayweather's defense is amazing but Manny just throws so many and he throws with tremendous speed and precision. Floyd won't be able to block them all. I think Manny has the tools to present Floyd with the toughest challenge he has ever faced but I still make PBF the favoutite. Technically, he's as close to flawless as you can get. Manny it not the hardest to catch - we saw more evdience of that Saturday night - and there isn't a sharper, more accurate fighter in the game than Floyd. We saw a busted up Cotto outbox Pacquiao on the backfoot at times late on their fight. Pac will have a nightmare dealing with Floyd's wonderful jab and lead right hand. I definitely give the Pretty Boy the edge.

However, I think Manny has a very good chance

Another thing also Floyd is "thin skinned" of compared to joshua, so he is unlikely to survive a 12 relentless rapid fire punch by pacman.
Behaving like a clamshell and taking potshots whenever there is an opportunity is unique to clottey  protected with his armadillo like skin Grin

Thanks for the Video Red and IQ for that.
Also notice how Floyd throws a Jab to the solar plexes. He uses that punch to halt an opponents forward momentum and also to create more room for him to throw a long right hand Lead.
These are the things that are so foreign to Manny and he never had to deal with it before.
I can assure you,his punch Ouput will actually dicrease as rounds  go by coz he would have eaten too many jabs, right leads and his forward momentum would have been disrupted by Floyd's ring smarts.

The kidneys are around the back and an area which punches are illegal. I think you mean the liver which is under the right elbow.

i never used to like mayweather i used to think is boaring but the more and more i watch videos of him i sit back and think wow is brillient i used to to love watching a tear up in a ring now i just love watching the skills and smartness of a boxer watching that performance against clotty the pac man i thought he was brillient and relentless but i just think mayweather would still have the edge on that fight mayweather is just as quick as pac man if not quicker and that jab will be the key to mayweather winning that fight and i would go out on a lim here and say mayweathr could ko him in the later rounds mayweather will be to smart for him lets just hope it happends beacuse mosleys no push over in mayweathers next fight

you're right mate. I was back in my mind in my wing chun and jitsu days, when kidney attacks were not illegal but effective  Wink

Call me crazy, but after watching Pac beatdown Clottey on Saturday night, I am even more sure that Floyd will make easy work of him.

The straight right landed almost at will all night, and that was from a WAY slower man in Clottey. Plus, Pac's body was wide open to be hit whenever they were in close. I was hollering at the TV for bodyshots, but Clottey never found a way to get them off.

I in no way mean this as a disrespect to Pac, I just feel that Floyd will have an easy time against him. I think it will be a massive build-up to what amounts to an embarrassing mismatch. Manny landed frighteningly low numbers of punches against a stationary target. Floyd will make him miss and make him pay. Simple as that. Either Pac gets stopped or super genius Freddy Roach will have to rescue his man.

No matter the outcome, I just hope this fight comes off.....
