After all the ticket sales were tallied, the May 1st Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs Shane Mosley mega-fight produced the 10th largest paid gate in Nevada history. According to the Las Vegas Review Journal, the final paid figure was $11,032,100. The official paid attendance was 14,038. Closed circuit sales of an additional 12,879 seats generated another million dollars in revenue. Mike Tyson's rematch with Frank Bruno was bumped from Nevada's top ten. It produced a gate of $10,673,700 in 1996.

Arena had quite a few pretty empty sections. Mayweather fans would obviously rather pay to watch it on telly at the CCTV venues!

Haha Number 9 is wrong figures and wrong Venue Big time.
The Hopkins vs Calzaghe fight was not staged at the Thomas and Mack Centre.
It was staged at a smaller Venue and there was still plenty of empty seats.
The fight was somewhat a Box Office Flop coz they did not Generate what they had hoped for even by humble estimates.
