Adam Smith confirms Wilder fight on Sky May 18th

By @Livefight

Sky Boxing's Adam Smith confirms that 40-0-1 Deontay Wilder's WBC heavyweight title defence against 20-1 Dominic Breazeale will be live on Sky Sports.

UK fans will remember American Beazeale's 2016 visit to these shores to challenge Anthony Joshua, whom knocked him out in the 7th round.

Breazeale has since scored 3 wins since that night, winning two of them by KO. Can he trouble Deontay Wilder? we will have to see.

Dillian Whyte: Kash wont be the last to bite someone

By @Livefight

Heavyweight Dillian Whyte has stepped up to offer an insight into the disgraceful actions of Kash Ali, whom bit Liverpool's David Price which resulted in the fighter being disqualified and needing extra security staff to escort him from the ring as bottles and abuse rained down on him.

"When you’ve got a guy, 19st, 6ft 8in, punching you smack in the face, it makes you do crazy stuff sometimes. I can’t explain to you the pressure and the power that goes into heavyweight boxing"

"But to compete at heavyweight you’ve got to be a bit crazy anyway, you know. Whyte understands how Ali lost his senses (Picture: Getty) ‘Kash Ali is a good boy, I think the occasion got to him, but these things happen.

"It’s not the first time a fighter has bitten someone. ‘Mike Tyson did, Dereck Chisora did. Everyone’s making a big deal about it. It’s not very sportsman-like but you can’t understand the pressure that goes into a heavyweight fighter’s mindset on the day.”

"The pressure is immense, nothing simulates it,’ he continued. ‘You can train, have 100 fights, but when the big occasion comes…I’ve had it before but managed to hold myself together."
