Vitali Klitschko and Odlanier Solid

WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (41-2, 38ko) and Odlanier Solis (17-0,12ko) both weighed in this afternoon ahead of their fight tomorrow night at the Lanexx Arena in Cologne, Germany.

Odlanier Solis

Solis, was a bloated 270lb when he faced Monte Barrett 18 months ago and there were concerns that he would come in just as heavy for the fight of his proffesional life - but has emerged at a career-lightest weight for the world title challenge, must to the surprise of the boxing media.

The Cuban defector has been running the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, from a base camp in Granada, Spain for several weeks and has been working harder than ever to ensure he can be victorious of the 39 year old Klitschko.

"My boxer is at the ideal weight to beat Vitali Klitschko. No more, no less. Just enough," said Odlanier's trainer, Pedro Diaz.

"We've reviewed Vitali's opponents over the years and saw that none of them have the quality of Solis - not in speed nor movement, nor the boxing IQ. On Saturday there will be a surprise."
