Canada's Steve Molitor lost his IBF Super Bantamweight strap at the weekend to a guy he has outpointed and knocked out in previous fights.

Takalani Ndlovu took home advantage over a lacklustre Molitor in Johannesburg, out-working and hustling the slick Canadian over twelve rounds.

Scores were 110-118, 112-116 and 110-118 for the new champion.

The defeat is the second of Molitor's career in recent times, having been knocked out by Celestino Caballero in four lopsided rounds back in 2008.

33-year old Ndlovu's record improves to 32-6(18ko) and Molitor drops to 33-2(12ko).
