Rusty Kermit Cintron loses to Molina

Kermit "The Killer" Cintron looked far from his moniker as he was out-hustled by Carlos Molina over 10 rounds on the Rios-Antillon card at the Home Depot centre in Carson last night.
31-year old Kermit has not been in action since he dived through the ropes during his fight with Paul Williams over a year ago. A fight that saw him lose via technical decision.
Molina, who is 3 years younger, has often been on the wrong end of decisions himself including debatable losses to Chavez junior and Erislandy Lara in the last couple of years.
But last night it finally seemed to be his night for a change - as he bullied and outworked Cintron for the majority of the action. Molina looked like the fighter who'd previously held to world titles and certainly not the underdog.
Molina established the jab and was the aggressor for the most part, as rusty Cintron just couldn't catch him cleanly as he came inwards, apart from one heavy shot that came right at the end of the action, but it came too late.
The judges scores were all in agreement, handing it to Molina with the same score three times: 98-92.
Cintron was in agreement himself as the camera showed his lack of protest. Talk of some big fights for Cintron will certainly dry up following this lacklustre display.
