Marquez wants Tim Bradley if 4th Pacquiao fight doesn't happen

By @livefight

Juan Manuel Marquez says that if a fourth Pacquiao fight couldn't made for May 2012 then his next hopeful target would be a showdown with WBO light-welter champion Timothy Bradley.

The Mexican hankers for his Filipino nemesis, but if the "Pacman" won't tango again, then Marquez insists he only wants to face the best, and his opinion is that Bradley is the next best option.

Bradley has alleged that he too is interested in making the bout happen. He believes victory over Marquez will more than show his worth to make the Pacman fight for himself straight afterwards.

Marquez broke ties with Goldenboy promotions to pursue his last fight with Pacquiao, after it was made clear that Arum wouldn't do business with them. Now the Mexican is essentially a free agent, a fight between Bradley and Marquez should be straightforward enough to make.

Will Cotto make up the 4th spot ?

But Arum's #1 fighter Pacquiao's date with Mayweather seems to have gone up in smoke with the imminent jailing of the WBC champion on assault charges against his former partner.

Given that three's a crowd, Arum will definitely need a 4th name in the hat so that the odd man out gets a fight.

Maybe Miguel Cotto or even Margarito will figure in 2012's Top Rank merry-go-round of in-house fights.
