Vargas Vs Mayorga Rescheduled

Orginally set for Saturday 8th September, The grudge match between Fernando Vargas and Ricardo Mayorga has finally been given a new date, Friday 23 November in Los Angeles.

The original date had to be changed when Vargas was revealed to have a severe iron deficiency believed to be caused by sores inside his stomach. Altough a legitimate reason for pulling out of the fight Fernandos opponent, Ricardo Mayorga, took great delight in calling Vargas a "Chicken" stating that Fernando was simply running scared.

This isnt the first time these two fighters have engaged in a war of words, infact this has been building ever since the fight was announced and at one point they even came to blows when the Nicaraguan goaded Vargas causing a huge brawl involving both fighters teams.

This one looks like fireworks and should cap a fantastic November of boxing.
