Khan set to earn less for Alexander than Collazo fight
Reports suggest 28-year old Amir Khan is set to earn considerably less for fighting former world champion Devon Alexander, than Luis Collazo, whom he defeated on the Mayweather vs Maidana II undercard.
It is believed the sum of £605,000 he will be earning Saturday night, will be over £350,000 less than the £960k he banked for the Collazo victory.
Before your heart bleeds, spare a thought for his American opponent Devon Alexander, whom will earn considerably less still at £382,000.
The pair will duke it out for the WBC 'Silver' welterweight title, with a view to the winner taking on Floyd Mayweather in 2015.
The trio are all managed by Al Haymon.
Sky Sports will air the fight card in the UK, whilst Showtime will be broadcasting the bout stateside. The undercard features Leonard Bundu, fresh off his defeat of Frankie Gavin earlier this year - he will be facing the unbeaten puncher Keith "One Time" Thurman.
