Tua of duty hit with criticism

David Tua's lacklustre display on Saturday night was greeted with withering attacks on his potential to fight for a world title.

Commentators and broadcasters from the States and closer to home in New Zealand, have both scoffed at his chances of winning a world title.

Leading broadcaster James Smith says Tua is no longer a draw card for major promoters and states his days as a leading heavyweight contender are 'done'.

However Tua's promoter Cedric Kushner has rallied to his fighter's side declaring that he is still capable of winning one of the coveted belts.
