01.03.08 Warren claims Haye is paranoid

Promoter Frank Warren says David Haye is paranoid about being spied on ahead of his WBO/WBC/WBA world cruiserweight title clash with Enzo Maccarinelli.

Warren made the revelations in his weekly column in The Sun newspaper.

Maccarinelli and Haye clash at the O2 Arena, London, next Saturday night in one of the biggest domestic showdowns for years.

"I hear reports from the States that Haye is changing gyms and hotels every few days because he's concerned that he might be spied on," said Warren.

"He even refused to tell journalists who went to Florida to interview him where he was staying until the very last minute to avoid revealing any secrets. Talk about paranoia.

"I'm sure Maccarinelli has seen enough videos of Haye to know what to expect when the first bell goes.

"And having inside knowledge of his training camp won't have much affect on the outcome of the fight."
