02.04.08 Scott Brookes Passes Away.

Doncasters up and coming cruiserweight Scott Brookes has tragically passed away following a car accident in the early hours of Tuesday April 1st. Brookes was transferred to Rotherham General Hospital where he was placed on a life support machine but sadly passed away hours later.

Brookes was unbeaten in four fights as a professional and was highly regarded in Yorkshire as a top prospect, his brother Stuart is also a professional boxer.

The 21 year old boxer who was a gym mate of Sheffield's IBF Light Heavyweight boxer Clinton Woods was rated the number 11 Cruiserweight in Britain and was seen to have a bright future ahead of him.
