09.11.07 Enzo in studio for Haye Mormeck fight stream from Paris

Enzo Maccarinelli is hoping that David Haye upsets WBA and WBC cruiserweight champion Jean-Marc Mormeck in France this weekend because the Welshman is desperate to set up a fight with ‘The Hayemaker’.

WBO titlist Maccarinelli insists that he would have no problem fighting Mormeck, but freely admits that he is far more interested in getting into the ring with Haye, a man he believes guilty of ducking him earlier this year.

However, Maccarinelli believes that if Haye were to triumph at the Palais des Sport Marcel Cerdan on Saturday night, in a bout which will be screened LIVE on Setanta Sports 1, then the demand for an all-British unification title fight would be so intense that the Englishman would have nowhere left to turn.



"I'll be rooting for Haye to win because he's the one I want to fight next year,” explained Maccarinelli, who defeated Mohamed Azzaoui in Cardiff last weekend.

"He's already pulled out of a fight against me earlier this year, but if he wins and has a title, then the public will want to see us get it on.

"There is no reason for it not to happen - only if Haye gets the jitters again.

"But if Mormeck wins, then I would be just as happy taking him on. Like Joe Calzaghe, I want to fight the best out there and unify titles."
